Jason is a technology journalist, product reviewer, and musician with almost 15 years of experience. He got his start in New York City, covering consumer tech launches and food and fashion events for Thrillist and Lifewire. From there, he broadened his on-the-ground coverage, delivering in-depth product reviews for Digital Trends and in-house copywriting for Mech Keys and audiophile enthusiast brand Drop.com. A lifelong musician, you can find his music on streaming services, where he releases pensive, indie-folk music under the name J. Alan Schneider. This gives him a "prosumer" focus for his tech coverage, bridging the gap between in-depth knowledge and accessible storytelling.
